Police Blotter: Drug Arrest; Charges in Nov Accident
The following arrest information was provided by the Brookfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, March 20
Shawn Visconti, 33, of Station Road, Brookfield, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for narcotics investigation at 8:53 a.m. It was revealed that the accused had marijuana concealed on his person and three pills, which were also concealed. The pills were later determined to be Lunesta and Xanax, which were not prescribed to him.
Visconti was arrested and charged with possession of less than one-half ounce of marijuana and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on April 3.

John Morasco, 45, of Autumn Lane, Wingdale, NY, turned himself in to on an arrest warrant issued for him for failure to obey a stop sign; failure to drive in the proper lane of a multilane highway; failure to carry a license, improper use of a marker, registration or license; operating an unregistered motor vehicle; failure to wear safety belt in front seat; and operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The charges stemmed from a motor vehicle accident in November 2011.

Morasco was released on $500 cash bond and is to appear in Danbury Superior Court on March 30.
