Police Blotter: Evading Responsibility

Saturday, December 24
At 8:15 a.m., officers were dispatched to 34 Skyline Drive for a report of an evading accident (hit-and-run). Based on evidence left in the roadway, officers went to speak with Jeffrey Aiello, 56, of Candlewood Lake Road, Brookfield. After speaking with Aiello about the collision, he was arrested and charged with evading responsibility while operating a motor vehicle.
Aiello was released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on January 3, 2012.
