Police Blotter: Fight by the Lake; Shoplifting at Kohl's

The following arrest information was supplied by the Brookfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, August 14

Just after 1 a.m., Brookfield police responded to a report of a fight at the Lillinonah campsite, 119 Obtuse Hill Road. During the investigation, Alan Bickel, 42, of Chamberlain Street, Seymour, and Christopher Teal, 27, of Seymour Ave, Seymour, were arrested. Both men were charged with third degree criminal mischief and breach of peace in the second degree. Each was given a court date of August 26 and released on a written promise to appear.

Brookfield police responded to on reports of a shoplifter. The accused, Victoria Shyrer, 44, of Erickson Road, New Milford, was found in possession of stolen merchandise by Loss Prevention employees. She was charged with larceny in the sixth degree: shoplifting. Shyrer was given a court date of August 26 with a bond amount of $500.
