Police Blotter: Party Gone Wrong and Unwanted Business

The Brookfield Police Department received a 9-1-1 call at 11:48 p.m. reporting a 17-year-old female in respiratory distress at 18 Windwood Road. Brookfield Ambulance and Police arrived on the scene and discovered underage drinking and marijuana use going on at the location. The 17-year-old female told police that she was a reaction from smoking marijuana at the party and was transported to Danbury Hospital for treatment and observation.

Further investigation resulted in the seizure of drug paraphernalia and less than four ounces of marijuana. An 18-year-old male Brookfield resident was arrested on two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and for illegal possession of less than four ounces of marijuana. He was released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on July 23.

Monday, July 19

After being told several times not to come to the Four Corners Mobil, Michael Parrella, 64, of Waterbury, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass in the first degree. He was released on a written promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on July 30.
