Police Blotter: Selling Pot at School; Mother-Daughter Dispute Turns Violent

At approximately 9:30 a.m., Brookfield police were contacted by an assistant principal at Brookfield High School (BHS) regarding a student who was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Through further investigation by the assistant principal a second student was found to be in possession of marijuana. One of the students had tried to sell some marijuana to another student.
The first student was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance (less than 4 oz.) and possession of drug paraphernalia. The second student was charged with possession of a controlled substance (less than 4 oz.).

Both students are “Youthful Offenders” by age and were released to their parents with a court appearance scheduled for June 6.

Brookfield Police responded to 24 Hearthstone Drive for a reported domestic violence dispute between mother and daughter. After an investigation, Tracy Zeqiri, 40, of Brookfield, was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct. Zeqiri was unable to post a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Danbury Superior Court on May 25.
