Sunday, February 26
Brookfield police responded to a residence on Parker Hill Road at 9:30 a.m. Following an investigation, Ralph Manning, 47, and Jenan Manning, 51, (husband and wife) were both arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Both were released on written promises to appear in Danbury Superior Court on February 27.

Friday, February 24
Brookfield police responded to for a reported shoplifter at 6:09 p.m. Alba Castro, 45, of Liberty Street, Danbury, was charged with larceny in the sixth degree. Castro posted $500 bond and was released with a court date set for March 6 in Danbury Superior Court.

Police investigated a domestic violence incident at 11:08 p.m., which resulted in [Name Withheld], 39, of Balance Rock Road, Seymour, being arrested for assault in the third degree. According to Brookfield police, during an argument with his girlfriend, [Name Withheld] struck her face and caused minor injury.
[Name Withheld] was released on a promise to appear in Danbury Superior Court on February 27.
