Police Blotter: Vehicle Used in Alleged Domestic

Brookfield police responded to a domestic violence disturbance still in progress on Nicholes Court around 5:23 p.m.

Upon arrival, Nicholas Mazur, 18, of Brookfield, had fled the scene after allegedly crashing his vehicle purposely into his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle and a neighbor’s vehicle and also attempting to run his ex-girlfriend over with the vehicle that he was operating.

Mazur was arrested in Danbury with the help of Danbury police and charged with criminal violation of a protective order: threatening or trespassing, reckless endangerment in the first degree, disorderly conduct and two counts of evading responsibility while operating a motor vehicle.

He was held on $20,000 bond with a court appearance set for June 27 in Danbury Superior Court.
