Police Investigating Rash of Daytime Burglaries

Brookfield police are investigating several daytime, residential burglaries that have taken place over the past two months.

Indications are that , when no one is home and the perpetrators are not inside the residences for more than a few minutes. Entry is usually gained by forcing open or breaking a window, police said.

The thieves have taken jewelry, small electronics, cash and credit cards.
