Brookfield, CT - Macbeth, Shakespeare's Cursed Tale of Murder & Revenge opens Friday, Sept. 13th at Brookfield Theatre.

Double double toil & trouble - the three Witches are ready to prophesy to Macbeth

A man whose lust for power knows no bounds; his cold, manipulating wife, a trio of “advisors” who encourage him, an enemy who must confront him man-to-man. The theme is timeless, just as it was in Scotland in the 15th century. Now, all the passion and vitality of Shakespeare’s

memorable drama is brought to life beginning Friday, Sept. 13 at Brookfield Theatre. A free preview performance for area seniors will be given on Thurs., Sept. 12 at 8 p.m.
