Both proposals will go before residents at a Jan 24. meeting.

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Zoning Commission has scheduled public hearings next month on plans to enhance the Greenknoll YMCA and build a senior living facility in town, the News Times has reported.
Both proposals will go before residents at a Jan 24. meeting.
One proposal envisions a three-story facility built at 291 Federal Road with 115 units for assisted living and memory care patients. The facility would consist of 89 assisted living units and 26 memory care units, situated bout a half-mile from The Village at Brookfield Common, another assisted living community.
