A Caravan of Fire Trucks, Emergency Vehicles, Police Cars, Eversource Vehicles from Danbury, Bethel, Ridgefield and other surrounding Fairfield County Towns, as well as a contingent of Brookfield Lions, participated in a Salute to Danbury Hospital Workers on April 27th. At one o'clock sharp the area surrounding the Hospital erupted with sounds of Sirens, Horns and well wishes as the Caravan travelled over Locust St, Hospital Ave and Osborn St, while circling the Hospital. Danbury's Finest and Danbury's Police Cadets pulled traffic duty to make sure the 1 mile long caravan was safeguarded.
