School AC Unit Fails, Could Cost Up to $160K to Fix
Officials hope to replace both AC and heating units.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Early estimates indicate it could cost as much as $160,000 to replace the air conditioning system that failed at the high school last week, the News Times is reporting.
The 45-year-old unit died on Thursday, on the tail end of a heat wave that caused some area schools to close.
Officials are recommending that the aging heat and air handling system be replaced along with AC, and all before the onset of cold weather, giving the project a more accelerated timeline.
