It’s almost here! On Saturday May 18 the Garden Club will hold their annual Plant Sale. There is something for everyone at this fun event. You’ll find just what you need for your garden whether it be colorful annuals, perennials dug from club member’s gardens, herbs, vegetables, a beautiful new shrub for your landscape or a delicious pastry, pie or baked good . All proceeds from this event are used for projects to benefit the Brookfield community. Our Garden Therapy group works with seniors at the Brookfield Senior Center. Participants go home with a lovely arrangement to brighten their home. Our Junior Gardeners Club is open to all students at Huckleberry Hill Elementary School. Members on the Civic Committee care for gardens around town which include the Historical Society garden, the flagpole triangle at Town Center, the Veteran’s Memorial at William’s Park and the library gardens and urns. Please support this important event which takes place from 8:00AM to 12:00 Noon on the front lawn of the Brookfield Library!
