Vandals Cause $15,000 in Property Damage Saturday Night
Brookfield police are searching for vandals that caused property damage on Meadow Brook Manor and Hillside Circle Saturday night.

Brookfield police are investigating a criminal mischief incident that occurred in the Meadow Brook Manor/Hillside Circle neighborhood during the late evening hours of Saturday, June 25 and the early morning hours of Sunday, June 26.
A total of 13 cars in the neighborhood had their tires slashed and/or their paint damaged by a sharp instrument. Several mailboxes where uprooted and eight storm drain covers were removed and placed several feet from their respective drains.
Total damage is estimated to be in the range of $15,000.

Several residents came forward to assist the police in the investigation and it is believed that the incident occurred between the hours of 11 p.m. Saturday and 2 a.m. Sunday.
According to Officer Michael Zezza, who is in charge of the investigation, at least one of the perpetrators will have a laceration on their hand.
