Vote to Determine Sale of Property to Benefit Gurski Restoration

The property was once owned by former chairman of the Brookfield Conservation Commission Paul Davis​.

BROOKFIELD, CT --- Residents are being invited to cast their votes as to whether a property owned by the town should be sold, and the proceeds directed towards the restoration of the barn and front farmhouse at the Gurski Homestead, among other conservation projects. The property, at 18 Junction Road, is a one-bedroom house built in 1962 sitting on a 2.3 acre lot, was once owned by former chairman of the Brookfield Conservation Commission Paul Davis.

The special town meeting has been set for May 7 at 6:45 p.m. in Room 133 of Town Hall.
