Vote on Still Water Greenway Grant Postponed in Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, CT — The Town has postponed a meeting on the grant to extend the Still River Greenway until next month.

The special town meeting for residents to accept the more than $207,000 grant has been shifted from 6:30 p.m. Monday to 6:30 p.m. April 4, in Room 133 of Town Hall.

The grant, from the state’s Community Connectivity Program., is intended to be used to construct a 2,500 foot extension from the greenway to the 25-car parking lot at the firehouse on Pocono Road.
