Voters Approve Sale of Junction Road Property

Proceeds will go toward the Gurski Homestead restoration.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Residents approved the sale of the town-owned home at 18 Junction Road Monday night. The proceeds will be directed towards the restoration of the barn and front farmhouse at the Gurski Homestead, among other conservation projects.

The 2.3 acre property, once owned by former chairman of the Brookfield Conservation Commission Paul Davis, was recently valued at $270,000.
