Want Ideas to Help Your Kids to Get Along?

You can wait until they get older, and hope they will "grow out of it".  You can yell and scream, and make it your problem.  Or you can use Positive Discipline strategies and tools, which can include B, C, and D below!

Are you sick and tired of your kids fighting?  What do you do to stop them?

A.  Scream at them to stop.

B.  Separate them.

C.  Walk out of the room and let them work it out.

D.  Sit silently and not engage in their fight.

E.  Try to help them resolve what it is they are fighting about.

The 3 B's of Positive Discipline include:

Beat it - The parent makes sure the children see him/her, and then leave the room.

Bear it - The parent stays and observes, but doesn't get involved no matter what.

Boot 'em Out - The parent removes all the children from the scene while treating them the same.   "If you want to fight, you need to do it outside", or, "You can go to separate rooms until you are ready to stop fighting", or, "Go to another room together and come out when you have solved the problem and are ready to stop fighting."
