YMCA Breaks Ground on Youth Development & Aquatic Center

The Regional YMCA of Western CT will hold a Ground Breaking Ceremony at the Brookfield location on October 18.​

What: Ground Breaking Ceremony at The Regional YMCA of Western CT, for the Building a Stronger Community Capital Campaign.

Who: Marking this historic moment in the history of the Y will be: First Selectman Matt Knickerbocker, First Selectman Steve Dunn, CEO Branson Ultrasonics Joe Dillon, CEO Union Savings Bank of Danbury Martin Morgado, President & CEO Regional YMCA of Western CT Marie Miszewski, Jeff Marcus Co- Campaign Chairman, Andrea Gartner Co-Campaign Chairman, Verdi Construction, McQueen Architects, Morganti Group and other community leaders and supporters
of the Regional YMCA.

Why: Historic advancement will allow the Y to provide services to hundreds more people in the community, double our aquatic programming and free up space at the Greenknoll Branch to allow for more programs.
