Swap Rewards Program
What is it?
Swap rewards are points a customer can earn by turning in clothing, gear, furniture and toys that are in NEW, Like New, or Very Gently Used Condition. Items do NOT need to be name brands to earn points. Each point is worth 60% off--per dollar. A point is earned for each dollar an item is worth at Kidz Korner Thrift Shop "retail" prices. For example. You have earned 25 rewards points for 2 pairs of overalls, 2 rompers and one sun dress and you choose to purchase $25 worth of items from our store. You will only pay $10.64 with tax! The best part is you can even apply your Rewards to sale prices
How is this different than consignment?
- We will not pay cash but we will award you with shopping points. You can spend your credits right away (if you made a swap appointment) or you can bank them for future use. If you'd like to gift them to someone else we can even provide a certificate for a friend.
- Whatever you bring in to us will no longer be yours. There is no period of time to come back for unsold items. As soon as you leave the building, if you wish to reclaim anything , you will have to purchase it or use your points
How it works?
- Bring clothing (any season/brand) that has been freshly laundered and checked (all snapped, zipped and buttoned and stain/hole free) folded in a reusable bin or bag. Be sure all toys and gear are clean and make sure there are batteries in any toys that require them so we know they are in working condition. This will ensure a quick and lucrative swap. We will accept as donation anything unsuitable to earn points if you don't want them back. Please make an appointment if you wish to shop and use your points same day. Otherwise I may not get back to you with your point total until the next day.
- I will tally up your rewards points earned and create or add to your account
- Shop, use your rewards and save big.
- Tell all your friends what they are missing by taking their used children's items elsewhere!
Are we still supporting charities?
YES YES YES! That is still our number one mission. All items in our store are made available to clients of our partner charities and a portion of our sales will provide financial support to the charities as well. We will still provide tax receipts for donations and we will never refuse a gift. You don't have to take home anything you bring to us. We are just adding another way to meet the needs of families in our local communities and reward customers for choosing to help others as they help their own families save a buck
