6-Year-Old Killed In Crash Involving Driver From Canton
A youngster riding his bicycle was struck and killed by a car driven by a Canton resident in Rhode Island Tuesday.

BRISTOL, R.I. — A 21-year-old woman from Canton was involved in a fatal collision Tuesday when her car struck a 6-year-old boy who was riding his bicycle, Rhode Island State Police said.
The unidentified Somerset, R.I. boy was riding his bike at the East Bay Bike Path when he was struck by a 2007 Ford just before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. The victim was rushed by ambulance to Hasbro Children's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No charges have been filed, and the identity of the driver has not yet been released by police. Police said the crash is still under investigation.
