CANTON, CT — The LaSalle Market & Deli in Collinsville is set to reopen next week after closing for several weeks to complete renovations, according to announcements from the business.
The market, located at 104 Main St., closed on Feb. 28 to begin the project, with an initial plan to reopen in April 2026.
Recently, the market confirmed it will officially reopen on Wednesday, April 29.
In an update earlier this month, the business confirmed the reopening date and outlined changes to the space.
“Getting closer and closer. The old bar is now a counter where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or a beverage. The floors are looking fabulous. Everything is finally coming together,” the market said. “We are looking forward to welcoming you back on Wednesday, April 29th. We’ve missed you.”
The renovations include reconfiguring the former bar area into a service counter and upgrades to the interior, including flooring.
In a separate announcement last month, the deli said it plans to introduce new programming after reopening and invited community input on potential events as it strives to be as much an entertainment destination as a shopping site.
“Looking to host some fun events when we reopen. What would you like to see at LaSalle?” the business said, suggesting ideas such as “Family Game Night,” “Date Night Trivia,” live music, and a comedy open mic.
