Ready to take learning outside and onto the trail? Roaring Brook Nature Center is excited to announce a new season of homeschool programs designed to spark curiosity, encourage discovery, and build connections with the natural world!
🌿 Nature Explorers | Ages 4–8
Young nature lovers will discover the world around them through stories, outdoor adventures, hands-on activities, and creative nature-inspired projects. These twice-monthly gatherings are designed to nurture curiosity and help children build a joyful connection with the natural world.
🔎 Nature Quest | Ages 9–12
For curious kids ready to dig a little deeper! Monthly classes focus on fascinating animals, plants, and natural phenomena, with hands-on investigations, group activities, and themed crafts. Students will ask questions, make discoveries, and gain a deeper understanding of how nature works.
🦉 Teen Naturalists | Ages 12+ — NEW!
Take nature exploration to the next level! This brand-new program offers teens a more in depth, exploration of Connecticut’s wildlife and natural world, led by Roaring Brook’s renowned naturalists, Jay Kaplan and Margery Winters. Participants will investigate, observe, and learn about the natural world.
