He was described as committed to serving the community through his work and as having a friendly and gentle personality that earned him many friends among associates and shoppers.
Arrangements for Daniele are posted on the website of the Vincent Funeral Home, according to the statement.
Reed was described as a devoted family man who cherished his grandchildren. He was known for his love of Star Trek, his sense of humor, and his kindness to colleagues and customers, the statement said.
At the request of Reed’s family, store officials shared a GoFundMe page established to benefit the family.
Store leadership has also set up a tribute table near the service desk where customers and employees can leave notes of support for both families.
“This is a very difficult time for our ShopRite family, and our associates have been deeply impacted by these two great losses,” the Joseph family said in the statement.
“We appreciate your support for our team as we continue to serve our customers and community while mourning the loss of our two family members.”
