CT State Reps. Usher in 2017 Session
State Rep. Tim LeGeyt was reappointed to Assistant Republican Leader and will continue to serve on other committees including education.

From Connecticut General Assembly: State Rep. Tim LeGeyt (R-17) ushered in the 2017 Legislative Session earlier this month with fellow legislative leaders at the State Capitol who took part in the traditional opening day ceremonies of the Connecticut General Assembly.
Rep. LeGeyt was reappointed to serve as Assistant Republican Leader by House Republican Leader Themis Klarides. Rep. LeGeyt also announced his committee assignments for the 2017-2018 legislative sessions. He will continue to serve on the Appropriations, Higher Education, and Education Committees.
“I am looking forward to getting back to work with my colleagues in the legislature this session,”Rep. LeGeyt said. “For the first time in a very long time, the House membership is close to being equal in terms of representation by both Republicans and Democrats. With near parity between the caucuses, I expect that more interaction will be taking place between parties on the many issues that we will be addressing in the coming weeks.”
