Saturday 'Music On Main' Concerts Showcase Canton's Musical Scene

CANTON, CT — Canton is one happening place when it comes to local music, with a locally based music series on Thursday nights, and another now starting on Saturdays.

Canton Main Street Inc.'s "Music on Main 2023" series starts this Saturday, July 15, with "Jeff Summa and The Roasters."

The musical events are every Saturday night in the summer in downtown Collinsville. Events are from 6 to 9 p.m. and they're free.

Other show dates are July 22, July 29, Aug. 5, Aug. 12, Aug. 19, Aug. 26 and the series finishes Sept. 2 with "Someone You Can Xray."

The "Music on Main 2023" program complements the Canton Parks and Recreation Department's Summer Concert Series, which started on June 22, and continues through Aug. 10.

Those shows are from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Mills Pond Park, 14 E. Hill Road, Canton, on Thursday nights.
