Suicide Confirmed as Cause of Death of Canton Couple
The couple was found dead in their Canton home Tuesday.

CANTON, CT — A prominent couple from Canton died of asphyxiation in what have been ruled suicides, according to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
The Hartford Courant reported the couple, Judith and Louis Friedman, had been in failing health the past few years. They were found dead in their home Tuesday.
According to their obituary, Louis Friedman founded the Westledge School in Simsbury in 1968, while his wife was chairperson of People's Action for Clean Energy.
