Cheshire Police Seek Bank Robbery Suspect
The Webster Bank on Highland Avenue was robbed on Wednesday and police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.
Cheshire Police are investigating the robbery of the Webster Bank on Highland Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.
Police responded to the bank, located at 145 Highland Avenue, at about 3:12 p.m. on Aug. 12.
Police said investigation revealed that an unknown white male entered the bank, and posing as a customer passed a note to a teller indicating a hold up.

The unknown male made off with a small sum of money and eluded responding officers, according to police.
Police said they are actively investigating several leads at this time.

There have been several bank robberies in Connecticut recently, following a similar pattern but there is no word if they are connected.
