Cheshire Town Council Says No To Tolls
Cheshire Town Council was the latest local legislative body to voice opposition against tolls.
CHESHIRE, CT — The Cheshire Town Council joined a growing chorus of local legislative bodies that are against tolling in Connecticut.
The measure was approved by six Republican members with two Democrats abstaining and one not present, according to the Rec0rd-Journal.
Cheshire's resolution won't have a direct impact on preventing tolls, but it could put pressure on state legislators not to pass them.
