DUI Checkpoint Announced For 4th Of July Weekend In Cheshire: Police
Police say additional DUI enforcement roving patrols will be scheduled during the 4th of July holiday weekend.

CHESHIRE, CT — The Cheshire Police Department will conduct a DUI Sobriety Checkpoint over the upcoming 4th of July holiday weekend, police announced on Tuesday.
The checkpoint will take place on Saturday, July 1 from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m. (To sign up for Cheshire breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Police said the location of the checkpoint will be on South Main Street in the area of Academy Road. It is anticipated that a secondary location of Highland Avenue in the area of Weeks Road will be utilized during the second half of the checkpoint, according to police.
