Free Disposal Of Residential Grass Clippings, Leaves Offered In Cheshire
Here's how Cheshire residents can dispose of grass clippings and leaves.
CHESHIRE, CT — The Town of Cheshire is providing a container at 1304 Waterbury Road (adjacent to the Town Garage) for disposal of residential grass clippings and leaves.
The container will be accessible from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. every Monday morning beginning Monday, April 29, according to officials.
“Please note that no other items will be accepted,” officials wrote in a post on Facebook. “Disposal by commercial operations is not permitted.

“Residents must empty grass clippings and leaves out of the bag or container. Leaves may be in biodegradable bags. There is no charge.”
