CHESHIRE, CT — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. When: Friday, June 24 at 9:30 p.m. There is no rain date.

What: East Haven 20th Annual Beach Party & Fireworks

When: Sunday, June 26

Where: Town Beach on Cosey Avenue

Rain Date: June 27

What: Naugatuck Fireworks, Food Trucks & Live Music event

Where: Naugatuck Event Center (6 Rubber Avenue)

When: Friday, July 1, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. (rain date July 2)

What: New Haven Fourth Of July Fireworks

Where: Atop East Rock, best viewing from Wilbur Cross High School

When: Monday, July 4, at 9 p.m.

What: Guilford Fireworks

When: July 9 at dusk

Where: Guilford Fairgrounds, Lovers Lane in Guilford. There is no rain date.

What: North Branford Fireworks

When: Saturday, Aug. 6 at 9:15 p.m.

Where: North Branford Potato & Corn Festival, Auger Field. There is no rain date.
