Linear Trail Repairs To Begin Soon In Cheshire
A contractor has been hired to repair cracks in the Linear Trail, according to officials.
CHESHIRE, CT — A town-hired contractor will be repairing the cracks in the Linear Trail between Cornwall Avenue and Mount Sanford Road this summer. Officials say the Trail will remain open, although people will need to pass around construction areas single file on the shoulder of the trail. The contractor will put up cones and signage to provide direction and ensure public safety.
“This repair work will begin soon,” according to a post on the town’s website. “It will be conducted on weekdays only, and completion is expected by the end of August. We are looking forward to this improvement to our Linear Trail, and we thank the public for your patience and cooperation.”
