Man Caught Growing Marijuana Plants In Cheshire: Police
Police say the man was growing about 70 marijuana plants on a business's property in Cheshire.
CHESHIRE, CT — A 43-year-old man was arrested for growing about 70 marijuana plants on a business’s property in Cheshire, according to police. Michael Desbiens, whose last known address is Fountain Street in New Haven, was arrested Aug. 18 after police received a tip from a local business that monitors its open property with electronic surveillance.
Police say Desbiens was found to be on the property cultivating approximately 70 marijuana plants.
Desbiens was charged with interfering with police, criminal trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of more than 4 ounces of marijuana and illegal manufacturing.
