  • Design merchandise
  • Make prototypes
  • Create marketing materials
  • Build your business by taking coursework
  • Participate in mentoring office hours
  • Access the free digital resources available at the library
  • We will offer a series of classes specifically for this group over the course of the cohort. Incentives will be given to those who participate! A full calendar of classes is below!

There will also be supplemental (though not required) courses

March 3, 5:30-7:30 pm: Building a Business Plan Using Gale Business Plan Builder

April 6, 6-7 pm: Creating an LLC

April 28, 6-7 pm: Setting up Square, CashApp, etc.

May 5, 5:30-7:30 pm: Buying a Domain and Starting Your Website

    May 19, 5:30-7:30 pm: Building a Website (Part 2)

Participants are also encouraged to take advantage of these, and other classes taught by the EIR, CIR, and Ives Squared Staff.

Each participant will be assigned a personal “coach,” a member of the Ives Squared team (including the EIR and CIR), who will assist and cheerlead you throughout the process, helping to ensure benchmarks are met, making referrals for office hours and/ or mentoring with outside experts as needed, and working through any obstacles that might arise.
