Nick Saban In Cheshire On Football Recruiting Trip

CHESHIRE, CT — Alabama football coach Nick Saban was in Cheshire on a recruiting trip Thursday morning. Saban, who has won five national college championships and also coached in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins, was at Cheshire Academy to visit with four-star recruit Josh Jobe, according to the Cheshire Academy Facebook page. Saban has been at the University of Alabama since 2007.

While Saban was at the school to visit with Jobe, it turned out to be a special moment for many students.

“Thank you, Mr. Saban, for spending a moment with our students. It will be a memory they will never forget,” according to the Facebook post.

Another Cheshire Academy football player is also in the news this week, as Ibrahim Kamara has been named one of seven finalists for USA Football's Heart of a Giant Award.
