Mary Lois Garrity, 88, of Cheshire, passed away Sunday March 24, 2019 at her home. She was the wife of the late Dr. Joseph Garrity who passed away in 1999.
Mrs. Garrity was born December 18, 1930 in Martinsburg, WV, the daughter of the late William and Pauline (Bowers) Grandstaff. She was a graduate of Georgetown University where she obtained her Bachelors in Nursing. She had been a longtime resident of Cheshire where she was a communicant of St. Thomas Becket Church.

Mrs. Garrity is survived by her four children: Winnie of Cheshire, Nancy of Beverly Shores, IN, Chris of Cheshire and Patrick of Middletown.
She was an avid gardener, enjoyed duck pin bowling and loved to travel, visiting multiple counties on five continents.
