Obituary: Rosalind Hogan Loudon, 70, Of Cheshire
She worked as a special education teacher and then with the CT state health department.

CHESHIRE, CT — (From Alderson-Ford Funeral Home): Rosalind Hogan Loudon, 70, of Cheshire, beloved wife of the late Christopher Loudon (former Chief of Cheshire Police), passed away on November 22, 2023.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, to the late Frederick and Eugenia Hogan, Roz attended Southern Connecticut State University and worked as a special education teacher and then with the CT state health department. Her greatest role was as a stay-at-home mom to her two children.
She will be dearly missed by her son, Dane Loudon and daughter, Molly (Loudon) Vespa; her son-in-law, Billy Vespa; and her companion, Chris Wolper. Roz also leaves behind two grandchildren, Lucy & Leonardo Vespa of Boston, who brought her many smiles and laughs, and will remember her playing happily with them at her home. Roz was also predeceased by her brother, Christopher Hogan.

Her loved ones will remember her indomitable spirit, her sense of humor, and her ever sharp mind and quick wit.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, December 1, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street. A Funeral Service will be held at 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Bridget Cemetery, Higgins Rd., Cheshire, CT.
