Woman Makes Plea Deal For Embezzling $230K From Cheshire Company
The woman was accused of embezzling more than $230,000 from the Cheshire company that manages the Holiday Hill resort and event facility.
CHESHIRE, CT — An East Haven woman accused of embezzling more than $230,000 over a five-year period from the Cheshire company that manages the Holiday Hill resort and event facility has pleaded no contest as part of a plea deal, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports Anna Marie Carasone, 54, is expected to receive a five-year suspended sentence and five years of probation when she is sentenced in September. By pleading no contest, she is not admitting nor denying a felony charge of first-degree larceny, according to the Record-Journal.
