• The Rocky Hill-Glastonbury Ferry is now open for the 2026 season, CTDOT says (ctpost.com) — Chester residents can once again rely on the Chester-Hadlyme Ferry, which has already launched for the 2026 season and is running regular daily hours along the Connecticut River. CTDOT also reopened the Rocky Hill-Glastonbury Ferry on Friday, with both services offering app, QR, and onboard payment options, plus set vehicle and walk-on fares through late November.
