Christmas in Clinton Celebration Anything But Typical

Clinton Chamber and Local Businesses join forces to promote small businesses.

The Clinton Chamber of Commerce and the Christmas in Clinton Committee have worked tirelessly to plan an exciting lineup of activities for 2014. Annually, Shoreline Residents come to Clinton to stroll downtown and participate in holiday fun including a gingerbread competition, a Tree Scramble, caroling and the traditional tree lighting at Town Hall which will take place this year on Sunday, December 7th.

Along with this tradition a second day has been added to Christmas in Clinton which the committee is calling ‘Shop Local Saturday’, on this day shoppers are encouraged to visit small business to purchase their holiday gifts.

On Saturday evening The Old Lyme Town Band will be performing at Andrews Memorial Town Hall at 7:00pm. With the help of many local sponsors including The Harbor News, the Chamber is able to make Christmas in Clinton happen each year for the whole town to enjoy.
