Clinton Crossing Outlets Closes Due To Power Outage
There have been widespread power outages across the state on Monday.

CLINTON, CT — Clinton Crossing Outlets is closed as of 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, due to a power outage, officials announced. Officials said more information will be posted throughout the day on the outlets’ social media channels in the event that these plans change.
A total of 122,000 plus Connecticut residents are without power as of 3:30 p.m. Monday as a significant rain and wind storm caused major havoc in the state. That outage figure represents about 10 percent of the state. Between three to five inches of rain fell and wind gusts exceeded 60 mph at times. United Illuminating Co. is reporting 2,064 outages and Eversource is reporting 120,678 outages as of 3:30 p.m. Power outage totals are beginning to drop very slowly as there were 160,000 plus outages earlier this morning.
