Clinton Drone Shooter’s Child Porn Charges Stem from Alleged Assault on Police
His recent arrest may have stemmed from a year-long investigation by Clinton Police that began last July.
CLINTON, CT- Austin Haughwout’s recent arrest on child pornography charges may stem from an alleged assault on police one year ago, Fox 61 reported.
The charges were reportedly a result from a year-long investigation that began when Haughwout turned himself in to police last July for a traffic-related arrest, after which he was accused of assaulting cops, according to Fox 61. His phones and other electronics were subsequently seized.
Clinton Police claimed to have found pictures of children in obscene performances on his phone, as well as finding lewd conversations between him and a 14 year-old organizing to meet up, according to Fox 61. Haughwout’s attorney, meanwhile, claimed Clinton Police had illegally possessed his client’s phone, and the conversations did not fall under any of the charges.
