Clinton PZC to Hold Public Hearing On Self-Storage Facility, Zone Change Requests

The Clinton Planning and Zoning Commission will consider special exception and zone change applications at its upcoming public hearing.

CLINTON, CT — The Town of Clinton Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. to review two specific applications. The meeting will be held in the Town Hall Green Room

The hearing will address a special exception request for a warehousing and self-storage facility and a proposal for a zone change and lot line revision.

The first application, identified as PZC-25-22, seeks a special exception for a warehousing and self-storage facility. This proposal is for the property located at 335 East Main Street (rear), identified as Map 88, Block 69, Lot 124, in Zone I2. Joe Barnick, representing Shoreline Partners LLC, is the applicant for this project. The request is made pursuant to Sections 12.45 and 12.46 of the Clinton Zoning Regulations.

The second application, PZC-26-4, involves a zone change and lot line revision. This proposal concerns Town property located at 117 Nod Road (Map 14, Block 3, Lot 26, Zone I-P), 125 Nod Road (Map 14, Block 3, Lot 27, Zone R30), and 0 East Shore Drive (Map 14, Block 3, Lot 29, Zone R30). The Town of Clinton, CT, is listed as the applicant for this particular request.

All interested persons will have the opportunity to speak at the hearing. The applications and related correspondence are available for public inspection on the Town’s website. Michael Rossi, Chairman of the Town of Clinton Planning and Zoning Commission, reported the details of the upcoming hearing.
