The very talented Gordon Swift and The Lost Acres String Band will perform at The Clinton Historical Society's second "Concert on The Lawn" the evening of Saturday, August 20th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The band will perform a variety of bluegrass and jazz pieces as well as original compositions. Gordon Swift is a nationally known fiddler who travels throughout New England bringing his unique musical style to sold out audiences. Gordon is accompanied by an acoustic guitarist and stand up base. The setting for the outdoor concert will be on the CHS lawn, surrounded by the society's beautiful gardens. During intermission the Elisha White House will be open for tours as well as the Buell Tool Museum and Flynn Library. Refreshments will be served. This is a fund raiser for CHS and a suggested free will donation of $10.00 will enable the society to bring additional program to the shoreline community.
