Words can’t describe the excitement of countless children as they search for thousands of candy-stuffed plastic eggs hidden in bales of fresh hay. Children can’t have all of the fun. Adults will have a chance to search for eggs too. These eggs will be stuffed with not only delicious chocolates, but $25 gift cards, coupons and more. The event attracts hundreds of people from all over Connecticut. “We are happy to put forth the effort to host this free event. Stuffing 5,000 eggs takes about 60 hours, but our staff is dedicated to get these eggs stuffed on time. We have already begun stocking up on candy and chocolates.” said General Manager of Tanger Outlets Westbrook, John Dolishny.
Guests will find more than just thousands of pieces of candy at this egg hunt — many of the more than 55 retail stores at Tanger Outlets graciously donated children’s games, center-wide gift cards, certificates for shoes, clothing and more hidden inside select eggs. Prizes can be redeemed immediately following the event.
Also taking place on Saturday, April 7 is a fun and unique event — the 7th annual Pet Parade. This lighthearted event is organized and sponsored by Petsense, located at Tanger Outlets Westbrook. The costumed pets and their owners parade through the shopping center on a 10 to 15 minute route. Although costumes are not required, they are encouraged. All participants will receive a free goodie bag.
