Looking for something fun and different to do this weekend? How about heading over to the HOT STEAMED JAZZ FESTIVAL in Essex?
The festival runs Friday, June 24, Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26.
It is a benefit for Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall Gang Camp for kids with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

Located at the Essex Steam Train Depot, the three-day festival features more than a dozen jazz bands. The festival has two stages running simultaneously for four sessions over three days. Rain or shine, the event goes on.
Food and beverages are available from vendors that sell items such as hamburgers, hot dogs and ice cream. The festival offers soda, water and juice as well as coffee and popcorn. You can BYOB (bring your own) wine and beer only, no hard liquor.

Ticket information and pricing is available on the website. Single session tickets are $25 per person Friday and Sunday. Single session tickets for the daytime and evening Saturday are $30.00 per person. An all day Saturday pass is $50.00 per person. A full weekend pass is $90 per person. Children under 12 are $8.00.

Friday, 7:00pm to midnight
Saturday, noon to 5:30pm
Saturday, 6:00pm to midnight
Sunday, noon to 5:00pm
A free Gospel service starts at 10:30am on Sunday.
