Headlining Salt Marsh Opera's eleventh season is Vincenzo Bellini's bel canto opera, La Sonnambula (The Sleepwalker), to be performed at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Old Saybrook on Friday, October 21 at 8pm and Sunday, October 23 at 3pm. Sung in Italian with English supertitles, the two-act La Sonnambula is a glittering operatic fantasy with a tender score an an innocent story, as hauntingly lyrical as it is visual.
