Tourganic Rocks the Hay House

                             "Tourganic Rocks the Hay House"

On Sunday, October 9th, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm, the Hay House Farm will host "Tourganic".  The Voodoo Fix, a band from California, has had a cross-country tour, performing on organic farms whenever possible, promoting local, sustainable and organic agriculture and benefiting local organic farmers.  They will perform on Sunday afternoon in the Hay House field along with several local bands.  This is a family oriented event, so bring the kids.  There will be a mini farmers market featuring several local growers. Attendees can stroll through the beautiful gardens, visit an artist's studio, take a peek at the Hay House, walk the trails of the surrounding Great Cedars Conservation Area, and circumambulate the Old Saybrook Stupa, Connecticut's only Tibetan Buddhist monument.  Suggested donation is $10 for adults and $5 for students and children.  As with most events at the Hay House, a potluck offering is appreciated, but not necessary.  Bring a chair or a blanket.  Hope to see you there!  Questions?  Call 860-575-2387.  The Hay House Farm is located at 155 Ingham Hill Road in Old Saybrook.
