Firefighter, 2 Others Injured In Westbrook House Fire: Reports
A firefighter fell through a home's roof and two others were injured when a fire broke out at a Westbrook home, according to reports.
WESTBROOK, CT — A house fire in Westbrook on Sunday morning left three people injured, including one firefighter, NBC CT reported.
Firefighters responded to the call at 77 Lookout Road and arrived to find heavy fire at the house, according to WFSB 3-TV.
Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control quickly.

Two people who were in the home at the time of the fire were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor burn injuries, NBC CT reported. A third person was treated for smoke inhalation.
An Old Saybrook firefighter fell through the roof of the home but did not suffer any serious injuries.

The Old Saybrook Fire Department posted the following: "At 7:22am this morning the Old Saybrook Fire Dept responded to a structure fire in Westbrook. The media is reporting that a firefighter went through the roof which naturally has caused concern for their well-being. We can report that the firefighter thankfully landed on their feet and walked out of the building without requiring medical attention."
